The 3rd Annual 2006 JTHF Book Drive was very successful. Sixteen Cincinnati area schools participated in this effort which resulted in the collection of over 1,700 books and over 600 additional items (stickers, video games, DVD’s, journals, CD’s). We collected 60% more in total than last year.

We would like to thank Lakota Printing for donating the book drive forms. We would also like to thank the following individuals for helping us pick-up and label the books: Cindy Hayden, Joe Hayden, Ben Pitonyak, Brett Stoltz, Greg Heimann, Rocco Baldasare, Ali Rotella, Patti Ahting, Chelsea Ahting, Kaitlyn Sheeran, Jennifer Carpenter, and Denise Pitonyak.

We plan on delivering the 31 boxes to Children’s Hospital in early December.

The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation is a registered 501c(3) non profit organization that was created to Make a Difference in the fight against pediatric brain tumors. For more information visit our web site at www.jthf.org
