There are only 11 more days before golfers take to the links at
Beckett Ridge Country Club for the 2nd Annual Robert Jackson Golf
Classic benefiting the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation. Online
registration is still available via the JTHF website.
This year’s event features the “Legends Lunch” sponsored by Outback
Steakhouse, which starts at 11:30 in the morning. Joining Robert Jackson
will be former Bengals’ David Fulcher, Louis Breeden and Barney Bussey,
radio talk show host Tom Gamble and NBA Royals star George Wilson. They
will be joined at the lunch by a few other local celebrities.
The 4 man Captain’s Choice scramble format will include contest holes
and a chance to win a 2 year lease on a new car sponsored by Busam
Nissan of Tri County, along with Golf Clubs sponsored by Dick’s Sporting
Goods. Chances are being sold for the Major Award, which is a complete
set of Nike pro quality golf clubs and bag sponsored by Nike Golf with
an estimated value of over $2,000.
