Several months ago, 10 year old Emma Siegel had an idea to hold a garage sale to help raise money for the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation. Emma is Jeffrey’s cousin and she wanted to do her part to help make a difference in the fight against pediatric brain tumors.

After several months of planning, that included collecting several hundred items from her neighbors, friends and family, Emma’s idea turned into reality. The event was held at Rite Track in West Chester on Saturday, August 19th and raised $652 for the JTHF Scholarship Fund. Thanks Emma from your Uncle Tim and Aunt Cindy, I’m sure Jeffrey would be proud of his cousin!

Emma wants to thank everyone that came to the garage sale and purchased items. Special thanks go out to all those that donated items and helped set up and work the event. Plans are already in the works for another garage sale next year!

The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation is a registered 501c(3) non profit organization that was created to Make a Difference in the fight against pediatric brain tumors. For more information visit our web site at www.jthf.org
