We are happy to report that the 2006 JTHF Piggy Bank Program was a
huge success. In only its second year, this program has been well
received by supporting organizations and companies.
The entire month of May is when we set out our Piggy Banks and this year
over 40 banks were placed at various locations throughout the Cincinnati
area. This year the program resulted in a total of $2524.15 collected,
which is more than double what was raised last year.
Jeff’s proud grandma and program chairperson, Jeanne Hayden, was pleased
with the effort and sends her thanks to everyone that participated
and/or contributed. The money raised goes to help support pediatric
brain tumor research and to fund scholarship programs supported by the
foundation.
We want to thank the following businesses, organizations and individuals
for helping out; Brueggers Bagels on Tylers Place Blvd, Dave's Quality
Meats in West Chester, Skyline Chili on 747 and Skyline Chili on West
Chester Rd., Ridge Jr. High and Freedom Elementary schools, McAlisters
Deli on Deerfield Blvd., Cornerstone Café in West Chester, Willies
Sports Cafe on 747, Maia and Tess Forman, Emma Siegel, Tom and Jeanne
Hayden, Hader Hardware DelFair Center, Hart Pharmacy, Moore Pharmacy,
Brogan Oil and the 5/3 Bank in Delhi.
The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation is a registered 501c(3) non profit organization that was created to Make a Difference in
the fight against pediatric brain tumors. For more information visit our
