Kasey the Fire & Life Safety Dog and her handler stopped by to visit us during the 5K Walk last weekend. Kasey was there representing our friends at the Child Wellness Community Fund.

Kasey is a Labrador Retriever who teaches basic fire and life skills such as Stop, Drop, and Roll, Check the Door for Heat and Tell an Adult When You Find Matches and Lighters to children. Kasey enjoys teaching children of all ages about fire and burn prevention and raises money for the People’s Burn Foundation and Shriners Hospital. Kasey has her own firefighter badge and goes to work with her handler at the firehouse.

For more information on the Kasey Fire & Life Safety Program, please visit their website at www.mcaxeandkasey.com. To see photos of Kasey at the Walk, click here.
