The month of May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and the Jeffery Thomas Hayden Foundation is doing its part to Make a Difference in the fight against this horrible disease. Pediatric Brain Tumors are the leading cause of cancer related deaths in children 18 and under and research dollars are desperately needed to help to find a cure.

The 2nd Annual 5K Family Fun Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 6th at the Ronald Reagan Voice of Freedom Park in West Chester, Ohio located at the north end of the VOA Park. Directions and more information can be found on our website at www.jthf.org. This year’s event is sponsored by Fifth Third Bank, Wellington Orthopaedic, Yelton’s Fine Jewelry, Outback Steakhouse and a host of others.

The Registration fee is $25 and you can sign up online, by mail, by phone, or at the gate. All walkers will receive gifts and a t-shirt as part of their registration. Additional prizes will be awarded to walkers for achieving certain pre-determined pledge levels.

Come and enjoy free music, food, drinks and fun for the entire family. Let the kids play on the Child Wellness fire truck, eat burgers courtesy of the Outback Steakhouse on Route 4, and check out the progress being made on Butler Counties new Boathouse and Lodge that is being built on the site. If you are coming for the walk, then we will pay your entrance fee into the park!

The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation is a registered 501c(3) non profit organization that was created to Make a Difference in the fight against pediatric brain tumors. For more information visit our web site at www.jthf.org
