Head Coach Mike Babcock to Sign Autographs

Detroit Red Wings Head Coach Mike Babcock will sign autographs from 6-8 p.m. next Tuesday, October 25 at Hockeytown Cafe in downtown Detroit. Fans who donate a new child or youth friendly book or movie will receive one free autograph from Babcock. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Donations and items from this event will be given to local pediatric cancer patients as part of Babcock’s ongoing partnership with the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation (JTHF). The mission of the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation is to increase awareness about Pediatric Brain Tumors and provide education and support to affected families. In addition, the foundation raises money to fund worthy causes; such as academic scholarships, research, and assist other support organizations with their efforts, with a focus on finding a balance between the best available treatments with the best quality of life.

The appearance by Babcock will give fans a great opportunity to see the recent renovations to the Hockeytown Cafe which include a new menu, new bar with a selection of over 50 beers from around the world, a custom motorcycle display and 63” plasma TVs.

Hockeytown Cafe is located at 2301 Woodward in downtown Detroit.
