The North American Brain Tumor Coalition (NABTC) is presenting the following activities for BTAW in Washington, DC:
Advocacy Teleconference to educate all about the positions we will be carrying to the Hill on May 3rd.

Monday, May 2nd, 10am - 5pm and Tuesday, May 3rd, 10am - 6pm, EDT:
"Hidden Under Our Hats”*
This Exhibit is an effort to raise awareness for the brain tumor cause.
Location: The Fountain in Upper Senate Park. Jeff Hayden’s Tomahawk hat will be on display as part of this traveling exhibit.

Monday, May 2nd, 5 pm-6 pm, EDT:
“Vigil”**
The Vigil is conducted to remember and reflect on those diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Location: The Fountain in Upper Senate Park next to the Hats exhibit

Tuesday, May 3rd:
Visits to Capitol Hill to meet with your Senators and Representatives to inform them about NABTC’s current advocacy positions and ask for their help. Visits will be scheduled in advance.

The Faces of Brain Tumors 2005 collection will be available for distribution to your Senators and Representatives. This is a powerful collection of photos and stories by and about brain tumor patients/survivors and families. Hotel arrangements for BTAW are still a work in progress. The goal is to have all 50 states represented in Washington, DC during BTAW. Registration details will be available online by February 1st.
