This year the award went to a very special young person who exemplifies
all of the characteristics mentioned above on a daily basis. This
athlete is talented on the court and in the classroom. She is a hard
worker who has persevered in difficult times. She displays a maturity,
respectful attitude, and thoughtfulness that is beyond what is expected
of a 7th grader. Her positive spirit is genuine and contagious. We are
honored that the first Jeffrey T. Hayden Memorial Award was presented to
Paige Foster.
