Conference Start: Monday, August 14
Conference End: Tuesday, August 15 (at noon)
Where: Bally's - Las Vegas

The Diffuse Pontine Glioma is one of the most deadly types of pediatric brain tumors and effects hundreds of children each year. Since we’ve all shared the Diagnosis, we followed through each family’s Pilgrimages. Then unfortunately we were all there to share in the Grief of our children dying at the hands of this tumor. Now we can share in healing!! While this gathering will not heal you totally (I don’t believe that anything can.) I think that sharing with each other listening to the people that we’ve selected to speak will help in some way.

The featured speakers will be:

  • Tom Zuba (www.tomzuba.com) – will discuss different aspects of grief and healing
  • Tim Hayden (www.jthf.org) – will discuss growing your foundation as well as some ideas for making a difference together
  • Roy Fivash – will discuss the many places to make a memory, including his special memory garden
