During the month of October, the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation
(JTHF) is sponsoring its second annual book drive to benefit Children’s
Hospital of Cincinnati and its satellite locations. The foundation was
created to honor a former Lakota student and support current pediatric
cancer patients. We are collecting new books, stickers (any
type), books on tape, new or used Game-boy and Playstation
II video games, and DVD’s. The donations will provide a needed diversion
for the patients during their often long doctor visits and treatments.
Donation “Drop-Off” Locations:
Lakota School Building Offices: Freedom Elementary, Shawnee
Elementary, Liberty Elementary, Woodland Elementary, Adena Elementary,
Lakota Freshman School, Lakota Ridge Jr., Lakota Plains Jr., VanGorden
Elementary, and Union Elementary.
Barnes and Noble Bookstore on Union Centre (for books purchased there)
