On Tuesday, May 21, 2019 the winners of the Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Spirit Award were announced at the Freedom Elementary 6th Grade Graduation ceremony held at Lakota West High School. Principal Lance Green made the announcement that Sophia Haigis and Vladimir Kholodov were selected by the 6th grade teachers as the two most deserving of this award. Congratulations to Sophia and Vlad !!!
The field is set and over 100 golfers are set to tee it up in the 14th annual JTHF Fall Golf Classic at the Hamilton Elks Golf Club on Saturday, October 6th.

The 2018 Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Spirit Award winners were named at Lakota’s Freedom Elementary School 6th Grade Celebration on Monday, May 21st. This year the award was shared by three deserving students; Claire Hoff and Lilly Plummer from Mrs. Fullington’s class, and Jacob Meister from Mrs. Giesting’s class.
On hand to present the award and represent The Jeffrey Thomas Hayden Foundation were Dr. Thomas Hayden and his wife Jean Hayden, grandparents of Jeff Hayden. Dr. Hayden is the former superintendent of the Lakota School District and addressed the students and parents on hand for the graduation ceremony.
Congratulations to Claire, Lilly and Jacob!
